  Turkish soldier killed in North Kurdistan One Turkish soldier was killed in a firefight with Kurdish freedom fighters in North Kurdistan (south east Turkey), citing security officials a foreign news agency said on Monday. The clash between Turkey's military and Kurdish militants, who ended a unilateral ceasefire on September 1, raged on in remote terrain on the mountainous border of Tunceli and Bingol provinces. One soldier was dead... more units were sent to the area with helicopter support, a Turkish official said on condition of anonymity

  Closure of a Turkoman newspaper in south (Iraqi) Kurdistan by USA US forces close down a Turkoman newspaper in Mosul, south (Iraqi) Kurdistan, reported the international press. "Sada Tala'far" was closed down because the paper asked for the intervention of Turkish military troops in Iraqi Kurdistan and also declared that the "Mosul Wilayat" (Iraqi Kurdistan) was part of the republic of Turkey.  
  Kurdish Institute in Paris: If not federalism in Iraq, Kurds will declare independence Kindal Nizan, the president of the Kurdish Institue in Paris announced yesterday that the Kurdish representative in the new established Iraqi council told the members of the council that if Kurds would not get a federal state inside Iraq, they will announce independence. Nizan said that the USA's latest comment about federalism in Iraq was due to Turkish pressure. source: Al-Sharq Al-Awsat

  Koyee u Xoyee....Talabani suggets the establishment of Koya University and Oil Refinery Jalal Talabani, the secretary of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan suggeted the establishment of Koya University, reported Kurdistani Newi , the PUK official newspaper. The PUK secretary also suggested the establishment of an oil refinery for Koyas' oil wells. Koya is a small Kurdish city which is expandable since it has all the requirements to be turned to into a large, modern Kurdish city.

  Kirkuk university Arab president sacks 15 Kurdish lectureres. The Haweja born Arab president of Kirkuk university sacked around 15 Kurdish lectureres of Kirkuk university, reported the Kurdish Tribune. Dr. Mohamad Ali said that he received the order from Baghdad. He told the Kurdish Tribune that the decision says any person who was employed after September must be discharged.  
  New mass grave near Chemical Ali's palace near Kirkuk, the Kurdish capital A new mass grave has been discovered near Chemical Ali's palace in Kirkuk, reported PUK media. The mass grave contains 200 bodies who were killed in 1988.

  Iraqi police arrest 15 Kurds in south (Iraqi) Kurdistan's capital Kirkuk for building houses on public lands Police on Thursday night arrested 15 Kurds who built homes on public land after returning to Kirkuk, from which they were displaced by the regime of ousted president Saddam Hussein, reported AFP. More than 100 000 Kurds were forced to leave Kirkuk by the former Iraqi government. Tensions have been on the rise in the multi-ethnic province of 800,000 to 850,000 inhabitants, who include Kurds, Arabs, Turkmen and Assyrian Christians, since Saddam's regime was ousted by US-led forces in April.   Kirkuk Mayor urges the return of Kurds to the capital of Kurdistan, Kirkuk. The Kurdish mayor of Iraq's oil-rich city of Kirkuk called on the interim Governing Council Friday to act promptly to ensure the return of "hundreds of thousands" of Kurds displaced from the northern region under the former regime, reported AFP. The US-installed council should quickly take a decision that would enable "hundreds of thousands of evicted Kurds to return in a fair manner that would not undermine the unity" of the multi-ethnic city, Abdul Rahman Mustafa told Kurds have been trying to recover homes occupied by Arabs, while many others had their homes destroyed under the former regime. Some Kurds have been camping in the city's sports stadium. 
  US soldier is killed in south (Iraqi) Kurdistan's capital Kirkuk Millitants described by Arab media as so called Iraqi Resistance Movements have murdered a US soldier in an ambush in the (Iraqi) south Kurdistan's capital, Kirkuk, reported NBC Kirkuk was liberated by a coordination of Kurdish and US special forces on 10th of April 2003.  
  Attack on PUK office in Mosul A group of millitants attacked the PUK office in Al-Masarif district in Mosul, reported Al-Sharq-Al-Awsat. The PUK has accused the terrorist Ansar Al-Islam group of carrying out the attack. According to reports, no one was hurt in this incident.

  3 female ministers in Silemani based Kurdistan Regional Government 3 new female ministers have sowrn in the Kurdistani parliament today in Erbil. The three ministers are Dr. Shawnm Abudl Qadir Mohaden for Education Ministry, Perwin Hama Agha for Industrial Ministry and Social Works post went for Shno Latif Mahmood Hafeed. There are two Kurdistan Regional Governments in south (Iraqi) Kurdistan which both work under the laws of one parliament. Silemani based KRG is headed by PUK and Erbil KRG is based by KDP.

This is the Turkish freedom and democracy that the world talks about. The Turks have proven once again that there is no place for them in democratic EU.  
  PUK Official: PUK Peshmargas are ready to capture Saddam in one month Adil Morad, a high ranking PUK official announced today that the PUK forces are ready to capture Saddam Hussein in one month, reported PUK media. Adil Morad said that Kurds were close to capture Saddam Hussein but a US apache helicopter ruined things. He said that when Saddam heard the noise of the helicopter around the area, he fled. Adil Morad said that 10 highly Peshmargas are assinged for this matter. He said that "when we capture Saddam Hussein, we will bring him to Sulaimania so that everyone knows the truth".

  Izzat Duri Ready To Surrender US sources said that the former Iraqi deputy ginger man is ready to surrender to US forces. Kurdish sources also confirmed that ginger-man Al-Duri is in a bad health condition and is ready to surrender.

  Arab men from United Arab Emirates buy Iraqi protistutes Arab men from the United Arab Emirates have started a campaign to buy Iraqi protistutes all over Iraq, reported Jamawar daily in Iraqi Kurdistan. Those protistutes who sign the contracts for huge amounts of money must not be over 28 years of old and must not have AIDS. There are also tens of escort agencies all over Iraq. An agency dealer told the paper that since the fall of Saddam Hussein, more than 3000 protistutes have been smuggled to UAE (United Arab Emirates) from Syria. Our Comments: Wala Iraq bu ba qahbaxana ! 
  Police forces shoot down a helicopter !!!!!! Police forces in Chwar Qurna, south (Iraqi) Kurdistan arrested a group of smugglers who were trying to smuggle an Iraqi helicopter into Iran. The group which were not named, turned the helicopter into pieces and hid it in a factory.  
  Kurdish Youths protect the Kurdish flag's honour in Kirkuk A group of Kurdish youths prevented a group of Iraqi police and US soldiers from removing the Kurdish flag on the lamp posts in Kirkuk. The incident happened in Shurja district in Kirkuk. The Kurdish youths stoned the US soldiers and Iraqi police forces . Arabs and Turkmans are not happy about the Kurdish flag in Kirkuk. Kirkuk is located in south (Iraqi) Kurdistan and many ethnic groups live in the city.

  New Kurdish boarder guards have graduated in Soran, south Kurdistan] A group of Peshmargas were given the honour to protect the south Kurdistan boarders in Soran, south Kurdistan. In the celebratoin, the USA and the Kurdistani flag were flying high in the Kurdish skies.  
  New Machines to find bombs in Sulaimani Police forces have been given new machines to trace bombs in Sulaimani south Kurdistan. Police forces use the machine to search cars near official buildings and in public places. Sulaimani is on high terror alert
